So many times I have people ask me to take pictures and it is very quickly evident they have never had their pictures taken professionally before. That is totally okay! No time like the present.
However, pictures are so important because you want to share them with your friends and family, and if you feel uncomfortable I promise you will look it too. So to help you out I have put together a few pointers to help you feel more confident when it's time to shoot... 1. Do your research Whether its Pinterest or Facebook, look up some ideas (though copying is frowned upon) to help you feel inspired. If you have no idea what you want to do it makes it harder on the photographer and you probably won't like the photo outcome as much 2. Stay relaxed So often I tell my clients to relax their shoulders, loosen your neck, when you feel uncomfortable you look uncomfortable. The best way to get great photos is to have fun with it try a pose out or bring someone along that will make you laugh 3. Finally, pick out an outfit you love I am a strong believer in when you look good you feel good. So go to the store, fall in love with an outfit and wear it to the shoot! Tight and uncomfortable clothes are the wrong idea, always. I love using Pinterest to get outfit inspiration especially for photo shoots. Don't be afraid to bring more than one outfit, especially for you seniors! Thanks for reading, Bre
